The Gateway Computer Club meets at the Caseyville Township Building, 10001 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, Illinois (directions) (area map). Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meetings consist of a short business meeting, questions and answers, and a demo or presentation. Demos / presentations usually cover topics suggested by our membership. Our newsletter keeps members apprised of up-coming events.

The Gateway Computer Club is a not for profit organization of like-mined computer users, who meet to share their knowledge, and experiences. Club member's experience range from relatively new users to many old pros. Our club members enjoy many benefits.

The club maintains a growing library of CD ROM's covering HOW TO's, and tutorials on various computer related subjects. Club members may purchase these disks for one dollar each. 

The club maintains a large website of useful information and links. You can find almost anything from our links including on-line help, computer related 'articles', and short how to's on a variety of subjects. You can even find the best place to buy computers, supplies, and components.

Members also receive our monthly newsletter, "Bits and Chips 2000". This "official publication", created in 1985, is used to keep members informed and amused. The newsletter is delivered monthly via email to your desktop. 

The membership is $15.00 per year.

The Gateway compute club is not associated with Gateway Computers or any other hardware of software company. We are interested in all computers and software. Most all of our members use PC's. Most all run some form of Windows, but you will find a few who are familiar with some other stuff too.
